Artists working in certain printmaking techniques such as relief, intaglio and screen-printing can apply to become an Artist-In-Residence. Our residency is limited to only five per year and one per artist. Artists who apply for a residency must be familiar with the medium they will be working in.

Resident artists receive year-round 24-hour access to the shop, individual storage space, possible exposure on Evil Prints website and in other exhibitions at EP or outside exhibition spaces. Artists also receive a discount on future workshops and classes as well. (Does not include Bootcamp) Housing will be provided.

Evil Prints artist residencies are self-driven experiences, and artists are expected to respect the equipment, the working environment of the studio, and bring their own consumable supplies (paper and ink).

Resident artists have complete access to the shop and  are welcome to use the studio whenever they choose as long as it abides by the terms of their contract. Each artist will also have access to a press assistant between the hours of 10:00 am to 8:00 pm to assist them.

Artists accepted into the residency will choose either the week long (Sunday - Sunday) or the weekend (Friday - Monday) program. Each residency begins with an orientation to the studio, crew and overview of the schedule. From there artist will begin their work. At the end of the residency artist will also have the opportunity to sell their prints done during the residency in our retail space as well.

Residencies are limited to only five per year during the months of January, March, May, September, and November. The artist will choose the month that works best for them, then we can schedule exact dates that work. Spots are first come first serve when it comes to choosing the month because we only allow one artist per spot. Custom dates, and stays for varying rates can be arranged. Inquire as to availability when applying.
