The Michael C. Carlos Museum @ Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia will be hosting an exhibition of Albrecht Dürer and Tom Hück’s woodcut prints TOGETHER beginning February 16 2019 and running thru June! Curated by Andi Mckenzie, the exhibition entitled “Rival Cuts: Process & Technique in Prints by Tom Huck and Albrecht Durer” will feature many major works in the woodcut medium by both artists.  Since the age of 13 - Tom Huck has long proclaimed his fascination and hero worship of the great printmaker Albrecht Durer and this exhibition will be a once in a lifetime opportunity to see that influence play out on the walls at the Carlos Museum!  There will also be many public printmaking events in and around Atlanta during the opening week of this monumental show so stay tuned for more announcements SOON right here, as well as at carlos.emory.edu.  In the meantime feast your eyes on a couple of vids about Durer’s “Triumphant Arch” and Hucks latest project…….of course influenced by Durer!
