ST. LOUIS, MO - Tuesday, March 7, 2017 - May’s Place, St. Louis vintage and antique boutique, is set to host Night Market at The Ready Room in The Grove on Friday, March 24 from 6 to 11PM. Night Market boasts a unique opportunity to shop from some of the best vintage, handmade and locally produced items St. Louis has to offer. From vintage clothing and housewares, to handmade jewelry, leather goods, candles, food, drink, tarot readings, and more--all can be found under one roof at Night Market.
Co-owner of May’s Place and host of event Katie May commented, “With the Night Market, I’m looking to highlight some of the fantastic makers, merchants, and collectors around town doing interesting things and doing them well.”
A variety of vendors carefully curated by Katie of May’s Place will be brought together for an exciting evening of shopping and socializing at Night Market. Night Market will offer shopping from May's Place, Future Ancestor, Knife & Flag Survival Union, Black Arrow Exchange, Rabbits and Rags, Living Collective, Lonesome Traveler, Metal Institution, Golden Gems, Philomena + Ruth, Pop & Pop Vintage, The Wind and The Sun, Crimson Serpents Leather Goods, Lady Von Black, Highwaykind Supply, Butterlove by LC, Fable & Lore, and more. Prints by local artists Theresa Moher and Basil Kincaid will be available, as well as a live print demo by Tom Huck's Evil Prints. Plus, Ellen of Tarot St. Louis will be doing $10 Tarot readings from 7 to 11PM.
In addition to the lineup of local vendors and artists, Night Market welcomes special guest Guerilla Street Food, a Filipino-inspired street food truck as seen on Diner's Drive-In's & Dives. Guerilla Street Food will be parked outside the event where food can be purchased. The Ready Room will be serving drinks and local brews for purchase throughout the night. Night Market is free and open for all to attend.
