Tom Hück, The Great Warmadillo, Woodcut, 16”x18”, Ed. of 40, 2017

The Great Warmadillo is a chiaroscuro woodcut created by Tom Hück in 2017 as a tribute to his hero Abrecht Dürer’s master print “The Rhinoceros.” It has since become one of Hück’s most popular prints and has been acquired by many institutions most notably The Library of Congress, The Saint Louis Art Museum, and The Princeton University Museum of Art.
